Paws for Fun Training Center The Paws for Fun Training Center is owned and operated by me, Brenda Staley; welcome to my website! I currently own 6 boxers that compete and/or train in agility, obedience, rally and tracking.  I have been doing agility and obedience with my boxers for over 10 years.  Previously I had an obedience poodle.  I grew up with German shepherds and have had several other pure breeds and mixes along the way.  I am a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and an approved 4H agility and rally judge.  I started Paws for Fun about 4 years ago; it started as just a place for me to train and in talking with other competitors and friends discovered there was a real need for a training facility somewhere in our area. One thing led to another and I now have a 50x90 pole barn that houses the Paws for Fun Training Center. **** Would you like your dog to be more than just a pet?  A loving behaved part of the family?  A companion and friend?  A dog that you can proudly take places with you and it will be well mannered and enjoyed? We have just the class for you! -- Basic Obedience & Socialization **** Do you own a show dog, and would like to learn how to handle your dog in the show ring?  Maybe you've handled show dogs before and just need a place work your dog and hone your handling skills? We have just the class for you! -- Conformation Handling **** You've heard about the relatively new dog sport called "Rally"? This wonderful sport is designed to act as a stepping stone from the AKC Canine Good Citizen program to the world of obedience or agility.  Rally offers both the dogs and handlers an experience that is fun and energizing.  Rally is designed with the traditional pet owner in mind, but it can still be very challenging for those who enjoy higher levels of competition.
