When do we
10 Week Beginning Agility
Dogs must be at least 10 months old.
For dogs under 1 year, we will not jump at full height.
You will be introduced to all the following obstacles:
working on/off heel side
broad jump weaves
Remember this is just the beginning and you will receive a good start
on all the equipment. However, depending on your dog and your
level of commitment, there will still be much to learn.
You will also be given things to practice that you can work on at
home without the benefit of real agility equipment.
AGILITY CLASS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Dog Must be 10 months or older (beginning agility may be an exception).
Dogs must have some obedience training, must come when called, and must respond
Classes last 10 weeks .
Must have flat buckle collar.
Must have 6 foot leash (preferably leather).
*The leash and collar may be purchased at the training center the first night of class*
Please wear tennis shoes or shoes that tie, no slip-ons or sandals .
Make sure and potty your dog before coming to class (if necessary to potty while at
class you MUST clean up after your dog, bags will be provided).
Children 6 and under must have an adult (besides the one training) to sit with them
during class .
Children under 16, may be able to train the dog but this must be discussed before
