| Melissa started competing in obedience and agility in 2000 with her first dog, a black lab, Ripley. Despite Melissa’s learning curve, Ripley has excelled. Her second dog, Ozzie, picked her and is starting to excel in his own right. Melissa competes in several venues including AKC, UKC, and USDAA. She is the agility leader for the Hendricks County 4-H program and judges agility for multiple county fairs. She is in the process of getting her Canine Good Citizen Evaluators Accreditation. Through competing, teaching, and taking seminars, Melissa has come a long way and hopes to continue learning.
