Paws for Fun
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to
Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they
can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our
friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who
were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in
our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for
one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left
behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks
into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he
begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster
and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling
together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your
face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the
trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your
heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...

This page is dedicated to OSKAR,  one of the best and most beautiful boxers ever.  We will miss
him every day until we are reunited with him.  He lives in our hearts and minds forever.   Til we meet
again Benchmark's Oskar De La Hoya, CGC.
We also lost Rory this past year in 2009, she went to live the end of her life with a very loving
family, and had her own girl to dote on her.  She was a joy to us and them, and we miss her dearly.
Rory was the mother of Oskar, Grover, Moxie, Lil-E.  Goodby,  Benchmark's Aurora Star, CD,
U-AGI,
We lost our beloved Jake  on July 7th, the day before he turned 10.  He is dearly missed every moment of
every day.  Jake did obedience becaused I asked him to, he did rally because it was okay, but he loved agility
and it showed everytime he went into the ring;   Jake I love and miss you more than most will ever
understand.                   Benchmarks Joe Louis, CD, RAE, AX, MXJ, OF, PNJ, U-ACHX
We lost Sadie, our first boxer, in 2011, she was almost 13 1/2.  She taught me so much and lived a long
and hopefully wonderful life.  We love and miss you dearly but I know Jake was waiting on you.
Staley's Sadie Girl, CD, CGC, TDI, MX, MXJ, NF, PNJ, PN, U-ACHX and many more titles in other
venues.
We lost Meggie, aka,Staley's Omega Girl, CGC, RN, in 2013 at almost 10 years old of Degenerative
Myoelopathy.  What a horrible disease.  She was a very happy girl all the way to the end. We miss her deeply.
Rest well Sweet Meggie run with your friends.
